Duke Gadd's mother, Carol Gadd, has come out swinging at Corey Feldman, questioning his claims about her son’s tragic death. The former child star recently took to Instagram, announcing that Duke had passed away from a fentanyl overdose, a statement that has left the grieving family perplexed.
Carol, who is also the mother of renowned Steely Dan drummer Steve Gadd, spoke exclusively with TMZ, making it clear that the family is still waiting for an official coroner's report. "How can Corey say he knows how my son died when we haven't received any answers yet?" she expressed, incredulous at Feldman’s assertions.
Duke, who played for Feldman's band after their original drummer dropped out, certainly had a connection with the actor. However, Carol wasn’t holding back on her feelings about Corey, sarcastically dubbing him "Dr. Corey" for his unverified diagnosis.
In the emotional Instagram post, Feldman shared heartfelt memories of Duke, referring to his struggles and calling his death a tragedy. But as Carol points out, without the coroner's findings, these speculations should remain unspoken. She added, “I just want the truth about my son’s passing.”
As the family navigates their grief, they urge respect for Duke’s memory until all the facts are clear.
