Fitness guru Richard Simmons has died at the age of 76. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a 911 call from his housekeeper and found him dead at his home, with natural causes suspected. Simmons had sparked concern earlier in the year when he posted on social media that he was dying, but later clarified that he was not actually ill. He had been out of the public eye recently, but was an active presence on social media. Simmons had previously revealed that he had skin cancer, but stated that he was doing well after having it removed.
