A Boy Collected Groceries in a Wagon for the Neighbor Who Could Not Lift Bags

Sep 3

1 min read

The story

Arthritis, surgery, and balance problems turn a grocery bag into a cliff. A wagon flattens the cliff.

Neighborhood apps record these errands daily. A boy who does them without filming himself is doing the older form of the internet: showing up.

What happened next

The neighbor remains in her home longer. That is public health on four plastic wheels.

A lesson you can use this week

Ask one nearby household what is heavy for them. Then move that thing on a standing day.
